A man has died following a crash in Numurkah today, Victoria Police say.
It is believed a motorcycle was travelling south on Goulburn Valley Highway when it veered off the roadway and crashed about 1pm.
The yet-to-be-identified male rider died at the scene.
Goulburn Valley Highway is currently closed to traffic in both directions but is expected to re-open shortly.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area for the next 3 hours as police continue their investigation.
There are traffic diversions in place in the area.
