Police are investigation a crash on a dirt road at Waikerie overnight, according to SA Police.
About 11.20am, Thursday 21 September, police and emergency services were called to Edgar Bartlett Drive after reports of a dirtbike colliding with a post and a tree.
Sadly the rider a 21-year-old man from Salisbury died at the scene. He had been riding with two other people at the time of the crash.
Major Crash Officers attended the scene and are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
This man's death takes the road toll to 76 compared to 57 at the same time last year. He is the seventeenth motorcyclist to lose their life on South Australian roads.
