Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash which occurred at Warmur on 30 March, Victoria Police say.
Investigators believe the sedan was travelling east along Morton Plains Road Warmur about 11.30am when the incident happened.
It appears the 85-year-old Doncaster man veered off the road and into a table drain before rolling twice and coming to rest in a paddock.
The male driver was airlifted to hospital but later died. His passenger was not injured.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
