A report will be prepared for the Coroner following a fatal crash near Wollongong overnight, NSW Police say.
Just before 11.30pm (Wednesday 16 May 2018), police and emergency services responded to reports of a single-car crash at the intersection of Mount Ousley Road and the Princes Highway, Fairy Meadow.
Officers located a Mazda 3 which crashed into a tree and a signpost.
The driver and single occupant of the Mazda, a 19-year-old man, died at the scene.
A crime scene has been established while officers from Wollongong Police District investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
