A man has died after a motorcycle and car collided north of Newcastle yesterday, NSW Police say.
About 12.30pm yesterday, a 31-year-old Moorebank man was travelling west on Bingleburra Road, Sugarloaf, 80km north of Newcastle on his VF Honda motorcycle when he and a 4WD collided.
The motorcyclist suffered critical injuries and died at the scene.
The driver of the silver Landcruiser, a 42-year-old man from Scone, was not injured.
He was taken to Dungog Hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
