Police are investigating a fatal crash in the state’s Riverina region this morning, NSW Police say.
Emergency services were called to the Hume Highway near Little Billabong, north-east of Albury, just after 2.30am tomorrow following the crash.
It’s believed the vehicle was travelling south on the highway when the driver lost control. The car rolled, coming to rest down an embankment on the opposite side of the road.
The male driver died at the scene while his passenger, also a man, was taken Albury Hospital by NSW Ambulance paramedics for treatment.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and will prepare a report for the Coroner.
