A report will be prepared for the Coroner after a fatal crash south of Gunnedah today, NSW Police say.
About 6.50am today, emergency services were called to the intersection of Yuggel and Maranoa roads, Purlewaugh, 41km east of Coonabarabran, following reports of a crash.
A man, believed to be aged in his 30s, died at the scene.
A 44-year-old woman has been taken to Tamworth Hospital in a stable condition.
Police attached to Mudgee Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
