A man has died today as a result of a single vehicle crash on the Roper Highway near Urapunga, Northern Territory Police say.
Ngukurr police and local clinic staff attended the crash after it was reported shortly after 11:30am by a member of the public. The sole occupant of the overturned vehicle, an adult male, was located and declared deceased.
The cause of the crash is being investigated.
The Northern Territory’s road toll now stands at 44, compared to 23 this time last year.
