Fatal hit run in Adelaide

Police are investigating a fatal crash in Adelaide earlier this month.

At about 6.15am on Friday 4 March a woman was struck by a car in the car park of fast-food outlet on the corner of Grote Street and West Terrace. The car left the scene of the crash.

The woman aged 56 from Ascot Park was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital but sadly the woman aged 56 died on Thursday 30 March from her injuries.

This woman's death is the 39th life lost on SA roads compared to 17 at the same time last year.
