Police are investigating a fatal house fire in the Southern suburbs this morning.
Just after 3.30am Saturday 11 July, police were called to a home in Hackham West to reports a house on fire.
When police and MFS arrived, the home was engulfed in flames.
Neighbouring premises were evacuated.
Sadly, one person was located deceased inside the premises.
Fire Cause Investigators will attend at the scene this morning to determine the cause of the fire.
The investigation is in its early stages, but the fire is not believed to be suspicious.
