Police are investigating a fatal house fire at Redland Bay this afternoon, 2 December.
Emergency services were initially called to a Meredith Place address around 1:55pm following reports of a house being fully engulfed.
Two people, a 29-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were able to escape the building and were assessed for injuries.
A crime scene was declared after the fire was contained, with a person being located deceased inside the house.
Initial forensic examinations into identifying the person are ongoing.
Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
Officers are appealing to anyone who may have relevant information or dashcam/CCTV vision to come forward.
