A report will be prepared for the Corner following a double fatality in the State’s Illawarra region, NSW Police say.
About 6.15pm today, police attended Cowper Street, Warrawong, following reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian.
On arrival, officers found the rider, a 23-year-old man and a pedestrian, a 58-year-old woman, seriously injured and immediately commenced CPR.
NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived and continued with CPR, however the man and woman died at the scene.
Officers attached to Lake Illawarra Local Area Command established a crime scene and commenced investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
