Fatal Motorcycle Crash Draws Police Response in Liverpool

A rider has died following a motorcycle crash in Sydney's southwest this afternoon.

About 2pm (Sunday 17 August 2025), emergency services were called to Franklin Road, Chipping Norton, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command arrived to find a Suzuki motorcycle had crashed after hitting a curb causing the rider to be ejected nearby.

The rider – a 41-year-old man – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he died at the scene.

Police have established a crime scene and an investigation into the incident has commenced.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
