Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died in a paragliding incident near Moree on Thursday, NSW Police say.
Just after 6.30pm (27 September 2018), police attended a Karingal Road, near the Newell Highway, approximately 70km north of Moree, after reports an object was falling from the sky.
Officers attached to New England Police District attended and located a paraglider frame and the body of a 36-year-old man from Eastwood in Victoria.
Detectives investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are appealing for anyone with dashcam footage or other information that may assist them, to come forward.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
