A woman has died after being struck by a car at Gerringong today, NSW Police say.
Emergency services were called to Fern Street about 11.15am (Saturday 4 November 2017), after reports a woman was hit by a Hyundai 4WD.
The vehicle was then involved in a crash with a Mitsubishi Lancer.
Ambulance paramedics treated the woman at the scene; however, she died en-route to hospital. Her age is not yet known.
Officers from Lake Illawarra Local Area Command attended and commenced inquiries into the crash.
The two drivers weren’t injured but have been taken to Shellharbour Hospital to undergo mandatory blood and urine testing.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
