Fatal Pedestrian Crash - Prospect

A woman has died after a crash at a car park in Sydney's west.

About 11.40am yesterday (Monday 29 June 2026), emergency services were called to a shopping centre car park on Blacktown Road, Prospect, following reports a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle at low speed.

The pedestrian – an 81-year-old woman – was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

The driver – a 24-year-old man – was subjected to a roadside breath test which returned a negative result.

Officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command commenced an investigation into the crash.

About 8pm the same day, police were notified that the woman later died in hospital.
