Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash at Moulamein: NSW Police Responds

A man has died after a single-vehicle crash in the state's south.

Shortly after 12.30am today (Saturday 9 September 2023), emergency services were called to Moulamein Road, Moulamein, after reports of a single-vehicle crash.

A Ford Ranger utility was reportedly travelling south when it left the road, collided with railing on the side of the culvert, before rolling several times and coming to a stop 50 metres from the roadway.

The driver and sole occupant – a 20-year-old man – died at the scene.

Officers from Murray River Police District established a crime scene, and an investigation is underway into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
