Fatal Traffic Crash at Blue Mountain Heights

A man has died following a single-vehicle traffic crash in Toowoomba last night , 13 December.

Around 7.55pm, police were called to reports that a car had struck a tree on Murphy's Creek Road.

The driver of the car sustained critical injuries and pronounced deceased at the scene.

Four passengers were transported to Toowoomba Base Hospital with serious non-life-threatening injuries.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

Anyone with information or relevant footage is urged to contact police.
