A 50-year-old woman has died following a single vehicle traffic crash at Bracalba around 4.30 this morning, Queensland Police say.
Preliminary inquiries indicate the BMW sedan was travelling east on the D’Aguilar Highway when it left the roadway, collided with a barrier and stopped on a grassed area on the side of the road.
As a result, the vehicle caught fire.
The driver and sole occupant from Stony Creek was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
