Forensic Crash Unit Officers are investigating a fatal crash at Browns Plains early this morning., Queensland Police say
Initial investigations indicate at 12.55am a Holden Commodore was travelling east on Browns Plains Road when it has collided with a Mitsubishi Lancer at the intersection with Parkland Avenue.
A 28-year-old local woman travelling in the Mitsubishi Lancer has died at the scene.
The driver of the Lancer and two passengers from the Commodore where transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Commodore fled the scene on foot and police are appealing for the driver to contact police.
Investigations are continuing and police are appealing for anyone with relevant dashcam vision to contact police.
