Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit continue into a two vehicle crash that claimed the life of a woman at Capalaba this morning, Queensland Police say.
Preliminary information indicates that a sedan and truck collided at the intersection of Old Cleveland and Finucane roads shortly after 3am.
The driver of the sedan, a 26-year-old Greenslopes woman died at the scene.
The truck driver, a 25-year-old man from Logan West was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with minor injuries.
Police are also appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or have CCTV or dashcam video, to contact Crime Stoppers.
The intersection was closed for several hours before re-opening around 9am.
