Fatal Traffic Crash at Glenore Grove: Police Respond

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash in Glenore Grove on 30 August.

Preliminary investigations indicate after 8.30pm, a white Toyota Landcruiser travelling east on the Warrego Highway left the road and crashed near the Laidley Creek Bridge.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 67-year-old Regency Downs man, exited the vehicle, before succumbing to his injuries.

Emergency services were initially called around 6.45pm on 31 August following reports of an abandon vehicle on the Warrego Highway. Police conducted a search of the surrounding area. A man's body was located a short distance from the vehicle.

Investigators are appealing to any witnesses or anyone with relevant vision to come forward.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations, including the circumstances leading up to the crash, remains ongoing.
