Police are investigating a fatal single vehicle traffic crash that occurred at Hervey Bay on March 2, Queensland Police say.
At about 7.50pm at Booral, the female driver and sole occupant of a vehicle drove onto a property at Janine Street causing damage to fences and a gate.
The vehicle headed along Janine Street onto Barallen Street at high speed where it left the road and collided with a tree.
The 20-year-old woman was transported to Hervey Bay Hospital in a critical condition and was later transported to the Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital where on March 4 she was pronounced deceased.
No one else was injured during the incident.
Forensic Crash Unit are investigating.
