A man has died following a single vehicle crash at Miallo in the state’s far north this morning, Queensland Police say.
Preliminary investigations indicate at around 11.10am a car travelling northbound along Mossman Daintree Road veered off and crashed into trees just after Newell Road.
The driver of the vehicle, a 39-year-old Cow Bay man, sustained serious injuries as a result and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
