Police are investigating following a fatal traffic crash at Palmview this morning, Queensland Police say.
Preliminary investigations suggest around 9.45am a truck was travelling along Spinifex Street when a stabilising arm from the vehicle collided with a van parked nearby.
The van was subsequently pushed backwards over the male driver, who had been standing at the rear of the vehicle.
The 58-year-old Buderim man sustained serious injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
