Fatal Traffic Crash at Regents Park: Police Respond

A man and a child have died following a traffic crash in Regents Park this morning, 17 August.

Around 11.15am, police and emergency services were called to Green Road following a crash involving a white LDV dual cab utility and two pedestrians.

A pedestrian, a 33-year-old man from Crestmead died at the scene.

The second pedestrian, a 4-year-old boy from Crestmead also died at the scene.

The man and boy were known to each other.

The driver, a 41-year-old man from Regents Park was taken into custody at the scene and is assisting police with their investigation.

The Forensic Crash Unit (FCU) are investigating the circumstances.
