Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred this afternoon at Smithfield, Queensland Police say.
Initial information suggests around 2pm on a sand track near McGregor Road, two men were riding motorcycles when one of the men has fallen off injuring himself.
The 21-year-old Brinsmead man was transported to Cairns Base Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
