Fatal traffic crash at Stonehenge, QLD

Police are investigating a fatal traffic incident that occurred at Stonehenge yesterday evening, Queensland Police say.

Initial investigations indicate at about 9.30pm, a quad bike travelling along Thomson Development Road collided with the end of a bridge with the bike and male rider coming to rest in the middle of the bridge.

Later that evening, a vehicle travelling along Thomson Development Road collided with the quad bike causing the vehicle to overturn.

As a result of the incident, the 31-year-old male rider of the quad bike was declared deceased at the scene.

Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
