Police are investigating a fatal single vehicle traffic crash that occurred at Welcome Creek (Bundaberg) yesterday evening, Queensland Police say.
Initial investigations indicate at about 7.30pm, a Ford van travelling towards Moore Park Beach on Moore Park Road left the roadway, colliding with a guide post and a tree.
The sole occupant of the vehicle, a 43-year-old man from Moore Park Beach was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No one else injured as a result of the crash.
The Forensic Crash Unit is appealing to any members of the public who have information in relation to this matter or relevant dash-cam footage to contact police.
