Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred at Wolfdene this afternoon, Queensland Police say.
Preliminary inquiries indicate that around 4.20pm, a van travelling on Mell Street collided with a truck at the intersection of Beaudesert Beenleigh Road.
The driver of the van, a 46-year-old Bannockburn man, was declared deceased at the scene.
A 16-year-old female passenger in the van sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital.
The 23-year-old male driver of the truck was not seriously injured.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
