A man has died following a fatal traffic crash in Caloundra last night, Queensland Police say.
Initial investigations indicate at around 6pm a utility travelling west bound along Queen Street has overtaken another vehicle and lost control.
The utility has veered off the road and collided with a tree.
The 21-year-old driver from Caloundra was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The 21-year-old passenger was transported to Nambour Hospital with minor injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating.
