Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash near Jimboomba this afternoon, Queensland Police say.
Initial investigations indicate a head-on collision has occurred between a sedan and a hatchback on the Mount Lindesay Highway, South Maclean near the Camp Cable Road intersection.
Two passengers of the sedan, a woman and 52-year-old Sunnybank Hills woman, were pronounced deceased at the scene. The 22-year-old Sunnybank Hills male driver and the 21-year-old Wakerley male passenger were transported to the PA Hospital to receive treatment for their injuries.
The 58-year-old Jimboomba female driver of the hatchback was transported to the PA Hospital for the treatment of her injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
