Two women have died after a two vehicle traffic crash in South Kolan overnight, Queensland Police say.
Preliminary investigations indicate at around 7:50pm two cars collided head-on whilst travelling along the Bundaberg – Gin Gin Road.
The driver and sole occupant of one of the vehicles, a 58-year-old South Kolan woman, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the second vehicle, a 65-year-old South Kolan woman, was also pronounced deceased at the scene.
A 27-year-old woman, 6-year-old girl and 4-year-old boy who were passengers in the second car were transported to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
