Police are investigating a fatal single vehicle traffic crash that occurred at Bohle Plains (Townsville) this afternoon, Queensland Police say.
At about 5.10pm, a vehicle travelling along Ring Road veered from the roadway and collided with a tree.
The 70-year-old male driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was transported to Townsville Hospital however was later pronounced deceased.
No one else was injured during the incident.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
