Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred in the Numinbah Valley yesterday afternoon, Queensland Police say.
Preliminary information indicates just after 4.30pm a sedan travelling south along the Nerang-Murwillumbah Road left the road and crashed into a large tree.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 72-year-old man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit are continuing.
