A pedestrian has died as a result of injuries sustained when he was hit by a car at Mountain Creek early this morning.
Preliminary inquiries indicate at 12.30am the man was walking west in the east bound lane of the motorway near the Kawana Way exit.
A sedan that was traveling east has stuck the 38-year-old Logan man and he died at the scene.
The driver of the sedan was not physically injured in the incident.
Forensic Crash Unit Investigations are continuing.
