Police are investigating after a pedestrian was killed in a traffic incident at Currajong this afternoon, Queensland Police say.
Initial investigations indicate that around 3.50pm, a 90-year-old woman was struck by the rear tray of a reversing truck on Goodwin Street.
The woman sustained critical injuries and was transported to the Townsville Hospital where she sadly passed away a short time later.
The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating.
