A woman involved in a traffic incident yesterday has passed away in hospital as a result of her injuries., Queensland Police say
Investigations indicate around 2:30pm, a 75-year-old male driver was exiting a shopping centre carpark on Cook Street and has collided with a 72-year-old woman.
The woman was treated at the scene and transported to Atherton Hospital but died shortly after from injuries sustained.
The man and woman were known to one another.
The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing their investigations.
