A 33-year-old woman has died following a serious traffic incident that occurred in Chelmer this morning, Queensland Police say.
Around 7am, police were called to the intersection of Honour Avenue and Bridge Street following reports of a pedestrian struck by a utility.
The pedestrian, a 33-year-old woman, sustained critical injuries and was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where she sadly away as a result of her injuries.
The driver of the utility was not physically injured.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who may have relevant dashcam is urged to contact police.
