A cyclist critically injured in a single bicycle crash on the Go Between Bridge Tuesday morning, passed away in hospital yesterday, Queensland Police say.
Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit continue into the cause.
Just before 6.30am, on Tuesday, April 17 emergency services were called to attend to a 65-year-old man who had crashed his bike while travelling south-east on the Go Between Bridge.
The man was found to have sustained a critical head injury and he was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, but sadly passed away yesterday afternoon.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact them.
