Fatal two-vehicle crash at Richmond

A man has died following a two-vehicle crash in the state's north

Just after 7pm yesterday (Thursday 30 November 2023), emergency services responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash along the Pacific Highway, Woodburn, about 35km south of Lismore.

The driver of one of the vehicles – a 39-year-old man – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he died at the scene.

The 23-year-old male driver of the second vehicle was taken to Lismore Base Hospital by paramedics in a critical but stable condition.

Officers from Richmond Police District established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
