Fatal two-vehicle crash at Wyong

A man has died after a two-vehicle crash on the state's Central Coast.

Just after midday yesterday (Sunday 3 December 2023), emergency services attended the intersection of the Pacific Highway and Cutler Driver, Wyong, following reports a Nissan and a Mitsubishi colliding.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the driver of the Nissan – an 87-year-old man – before taking him to Gosford District Hospital; however, he died shortly after arriving.

The driver of the Mitsubishi – a 34-year-old man – escaped injury.

Officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
