Ferguson in denial about budget black hole

Treasurer, and failed minister, Michael Ferguson's desperate attempt to cover up his broken budget isn't fooling anyone.

The fact is, as the Revised Estimates Report itself notes (pp. 20-22), the creation of Homes Tasmania does not come close to explaining the $430 million of cuts the Treasurer tried to hide in the mid-year budget update.

Michael Ferguson either needs to be honest about where these cuts are coming from, or admit there's a massive black hole in his budget.

More incompetent budget management is the last thing Tasmania needs when the Liberals have already driven Tasmania into record debt.
