Financial Cyber Crime Group - Appeal To Identify Man

Detectives from the Financial and Cyber Crime Group are seeking community assistance to identify a man they wish to speak to in relation to a fraud investigation.

Detectives are investigating alleged reports of an unknown man, purporting to be an employee of a bank, allegedly coerced an 83-year-old man into handing over his bank card.

Investigations indicate the card was used in multiple locations in Brisbane and South East Queensland, Bundoora in Victoria and Tamworth in New South Wales in June 2024.

Police have released images of a man who may be able to assist with the investigation and are appealing to anyone who may be able to identify the man to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
