Police from the Crime Gangs Task Force have arrested an OMCG member (Finks) as part of an ongoing investigation, according to SA Police.
Just before 1pm today (Monday 14 May) police spotted the man riding a black BMW motorcycle east along Olive Street at Prospect. As police approached he rode off and turned right into Braund Road.
Police followed the man as he turned into Lanvender Lane before he turned left into Laburnum Avenue which is a dead end street.
Police will allege the man violently resisted them causing the solo patrol officer to subdue him with OC spray.
The 30-year-old from Prospect was allegedly found in possession of an amount of fantasy, a knife and a taser. He remains in police custody and is expected to be charged with a number of offences.
Police are currently searching a premises on Olive Street following the arrest.
The arresting officer was not injured.
