Fire ban advice 21 September

The Chief Fire Control Officer, Bushfires NT and the Director, Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service have declared a 24 HOUR FIRE BAN PERIOD for Wednesday 22 September 2021 for the following areas.

DARWIN, ADELAIDE RIVER, THE DALY SOUTH and THE GREGORY NORTH WEST FIRE WEATHER FORECAST AREAS and THE NORTHERN FIRE PROTECTION ZONE.

The Fire Ban is declared for a 24 hour period commencing at 0000 hours on Wednesday 22 September 2021.

No person shall light a fire or cause a fire to be lit in the open in the portion of the Northern Territory within the fire ban areas.

This includes the DARWIN, BATCHELOR, ADELAIDE RIVER, PINE CREEK, TIMBER CREEK RESPONSE AREAS and the LITCHFIELD MUNICIPALITY and COOMALIE SHIRE.

The Fire Ban is valid from midnight to midnight.
