The Chief Fire Control Officer, Bushfires NT and the Acting Director, NT Fireand Rescue Service have declared a 24HOUR FIRE BAN PERIODfor Thursday 03 October 2019 for thefollowing areas.
GREGORYNORTH WEST, DARWIN AND ADELAIDE RIVER FIRE WEATHER FORECAST AREAS
The Fire Ban is declared for a 24 hour period commencing at 0000hours on Thursday 03 October 2019.
No person shall light a fire or cause a fire to be lit in the open in theportion of the Northern Territory within the fire ban areas.
THISINCLUDES THE DARWIN, BATCHELOR AND ADELAIDE RIVER EMERGENCY RESPONSE AREAS ANDTHE LITCHFIELD MUNICIPALITY AND COOMALIE SHIRE.
TheFire Ban is valid from midnight to midnight.
