An investigation is underway into the cause of a fire which has caused extensive damage to a home at West Pennant Hills this morning, NSW Police say.
Emergency services were called to the single-level home on Hannah Bellamy Place, West Pennant Hills, shortly after 1am today.
Officers arrived to find a home well alight.
Four people escaped the building, with all checked by NSW Ambulance Paramedics in case of smoke inhalation.
Three people were evacuated from adjoining properties as a precaution.
Fire & Rescue NSW fire fighters managed to contained the blaze; however, the home sustained extensive damage.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
