A man will face court charged following an investigation into the alleged supply of prohibited drugs in Sydney's south-west.
In July 2025, officers attached to Bankstown Region Enforcement Squad established Strike Force Inglehope to investigation the alleged supply of prohibited drugs from licensed premises.
About 4.20pm yesterday (Thursday 8 January 2026), officers attempted to stop a Toyota Hilux at Pheasants Nest. When the vehicle allegedly failed to stop as directed, a pursuit was initiated, however was terminated a short time later due to safety reasons.
Following further inquiries, about 11.35pm (Thursday 8 January 2026), officers executed a search warrant at a unit on Pitlochry Road, St Andrews, where a 20-year-old man was located and arrested.
During a subsequent search of the property, officers allegedly located and seized approximately 6.5kg of cocaine, 2kg of methylamphetamine, two firearms and approximately $100,000 in cash.
The man was taken to Campbelltown Police Station where he was charged with 13 offences:
- Three counts of supply prohibited drug greater than or equal to large commercial quantity
- Two counts of possess ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority
- Police pursuit - not stop - drive dangerously
- Drive motor vehicle during disqualification period
- Knowingly deal with proceeds of crime
- Possess unauthorised firearm
- Possess unauthorised prohibited firearm
- Supply prohibited drug more than indictable and less than commercial quantity
- Not keep firearm safely-prohibited firearm, and
- Not keep firearm safely-not pistol or prohibited
He was refused bail to appear at Local Bail Division – Court 6 today (Friday 9 January 2026).
