Firearms Offences, South Brisbane

Police have arrested a man who is alleged to have threatened security at a medical facility in South Brisbane this morning, 27 May.

At approximately 2:30am, police attended a medical facility on Raymond Terrace following reports a man had made threats and was believed to be carrying a firearm.

Officers arrested a 21-year-old South Brisbane man who is alleged to have been carrying several replica firearms as well as a quantity of drugs.

The man has been charged with one count each of unlawful possession of weapons, threats and possessing dangerous drugs.

He will appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court on 27 May.
